That Night!

Image
Remember that stormy night?? The rain? That night, that we met again. A promise...a promise that we made to met that day. You walking through, through that cold rainy night And I finding my way through the red woods to you. Yes! Those red woods whispering something to each other in the air. Cold wind running through my spine, Still that yearning heart keeps me on. That song..yes that old incomplete song we always hummed. Both humming it through till we get to that bridge. That bridge that will connect our soul..... And through the clouds..came the sparkling moonlight, And ahead I see a bridge... A girl waiting..her scarf blowing in the wind, her face shining in the moonlight. And you came running through & fell in my arms.. The moonlight, the swirling water flowing.... It all seemed paused, and, Time became timeless, the moment we kissed.....!! Just remember that night.

Ban wanted by B'wood on dubbing in hindi of Hollywood movies

Image
There is a buzz is that certain industry bigwigs are lobbying to convince the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to ban the dubbing of English films into local languages . M.Bhatt said-"There are similar apprehensions in Bollywood and everyone is planning to come together and fight this practice of Hollywood films being dubbed in Hindi or Tamil. We cannot allow them to have a right over our mother tongue and use it to their advantage just because they have the budget.Hollywood studios have big budgets for promotions and we can never match that. Hindi film producers are now planning to come together against this. Letters have been written to the I&B ministry secretary in the past also, and I can say with full certainty that something similar is on the cards now. We face similar issues in other states at times. For instance, I cannot get my movie dubbed in Bengali " in south India, English movies can only be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu and no other language.Whi

China daily warns India being in South China Sea

Image
As on Chinese Daily the "China Energy News" in Beijing- The agreement signed by India with Vietnam to explore oil in the South China Sea is a reckless attempt to confront China , said the state-run Chinese daily, warning that Beijing may have to take actions to show its stance . "Both countries clearly know what this means for China," the Global Times, which has in the past taken hard lines on India, said in a commentary referring to the agreement New Delhi signed with Hanoi this last Wednesday. It said India is willing to fish in the South China Sea for bargaining chips with China on other issues.Hanoi has inked the agreement with New Delhi just one day after it signed a deal in Beijing on ground rules to resolve maritime disputes, the paper observed. "It is hard to tell if this shows a double-dealing mentality from Hanoi, or a disagreement among Vietnam's top decision-makers. "India probably has deeper considerations in its regional strategy

Reveiw of "REVOLUTION 2020", a book by Chetan Bhagat

Image
Got my copy of "Revolution 2020", the new book of Chetan bhagat released a week back. Started my reading yesterday from 9pm to morning 4am. I didn't liked the plot of the book. It was kind of weird story. No happening nothing. Story goes on from some part to some other part. It's like the writer want to skip the main part/theme of his story and give it a end like a bollywood movie. I felt like it was a playback of Shahrukh Khan "KAL HO NA HO". The guy left the girl because he felt hi concise even when he know that both of them loves each other the most. Complete weird story by him. I had not felt the kind of charm his first three books did. "2 STATES" also didn't had a perfect ending still the book was kind of good but Revolution 2020 is worst. CHETAN BHAGGU SUCKS!!

HUNTER'S MOON

Image
According to folklore, this week's full Moon is the Hunter's Moon. It gets its name from Native American hunters who once tracked and killed their prey by autumn moonlight, stockpiling food for the winter ahead. Last night, photographer Aaron Top caught the Hunter's Moon beaming through trees around Owen Sound, Ontario , "The water was so calm that I saw a perfectly-cast moon reflection," says Top. "It was a beautiful sight." The view gets even better tonight as the Moon approaches Jupiter for a close encounter. On Oct. 12th and 13th it will be possible to hide the lunar disk and the bright planet together behind the palm of your outstretched hand. The conjunction is visible throughout the night; just look for the Moon and you will find Jupiter not far away. Enjoy it guys.

India, China Eye Border Plan

Image
Even as tensions grow between Asia’s two giant rivals over resources in the South China Sea, India and China still appear to be open to constructive steps to help ease the potential for conflict. Reports suggest that the two neighbours, who share a tense 3,500 kilometre border, are set to adopt a new institutionalized mechanism for more effective border management in the face of repeated incursions into Indian territory by China, and subsequent Indian responses. Speaking in response to a question on Chinese border incursions, Indian Defence Minister A.K. Antony told reporters that his government had decided to set up a mechanism involving all stakeholders, including paramilitary forces, the military and the foreign ministry. ‘The mechanism will be in place within a few months,’ he said. ‘The ministry of external affairs is coordinating it.’ The proposed mechanism, which will monitor the Line of Actual Control (LAC) that represents the unsettled border between the two coun

Expanding the limit of IAF

Image
Our country is gradually building powerful military capabilities in tune with its expanding geopolitical interests, which are no longer limited to the swathe stretching from the Persian Gulf to Malacca Strait, even as the eastern and western fronts are being strengthened to deter the twin Pakistan-China threat. After the over Rs 3,00,000 crore plan to build a potent three-dimensional Indian Navy for the future. Now IAF turn on this Monday to assert it was on the path to transform into a true aerospace power with the capability to rapidly deploy and operate around the globe. As for the two-front challenge, apart from progressively basing Sukhoi-30MKI fighters and missile squadrons in the two theatres, the plan also includes upgrading the Nyoma advanced landing ground in eastern Ladakh, located 23km from the LAC with China at an altitude of 13,300 feet. "We want a 12,000-feet runway capable of handling fighters as well as transport aircraft at Nyoma. It will give us both defen

Pakistan nearing to enjoy China's latest n-technology

Image
Islamabad. Pakistan is in an advanced stage of negotiations with China for its latest third-generation nuclear technology to build a power plant. It said "Pakistan has decided to secure latest Chinese third generation nuclear technology for building a power plant to generate more energy to meet its national requirements.Negotiations were in an advanced stage and "once an agreement is reached, Pakistan would be able to induct this technology within a two-year time" Describing China as a unique friend, it said Beijing has "openly offered every support to Islamabad in any sector for rapid development".The editorial noted: "What is also uncommon is the fact that China not only supplies plants or defence-related equipment, it also transfers technology to Pakistan so that it starts its own production." Citing the examples of F-17 Thunder fighter aircraft and frigate warships, it said: "After the transfer of technology, Pakistan is now manufac

Einstein fame in question mark.

Image
A recent experiment at CERN, the giant particle accelerator near Geneva, seem to attack one of physics’ sacred cows: Albert Einstein’s postulate that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. In the experiment, physicists saw that streams of neutrinos — tiny, ghostly particles which seldom interact with other matter — were travelling just above the speed of light. But this is impossible if Einstein’s theory of relativity is correct. So was Einstein wrong? Einstein’s near-mythic fame rests on his theory of relativity, which says that the speed of light in a vacuum, approximately 186,282 miles per second, is the ultimate speed limit. Nothing in the universe can travel faster. In the CERN experiment, physicists fired a beam of neutrinos towards a detector in Gran Sasso, Italy, 454 miles away. Using highly sophisticated equipment, the CERN physicists tracked some 15,000 neutrinos over a period of three years. The neutrinos seemed to be reaching the detector 60 nanosecon

"Lighters"~ Sky full of lighters

of lighters [Bruno Mars:] This one's for you and me, living out our dreams We're all right where we should be With my arms out wide I open my eyes And now all I wanna see Is a sky full of lighters A sky full of lighters [Eminem:] By the time you hear this I will have already spiralled up I would never do nothing to let you cowards fuck my world up If I was you, I would duck, or get struck like lightening, Fighters keep fighting, put your lighters up, point em' skyward uh Had a dream I was king, I woke up, still king... Feel free, but from now on I'm refusing to ever give up The only thing I ever gave up's using no more excuses Excuse me if my head is too big for this building And pardon me if I'm a cocky prick but you cocks are slick Poppin shit

China's Space Lab Module Launch- A cover up or real deal

Image
IT was supposed to be a patriotic tribute to China's technological prowess. Instead, a video showing the launch of China's first space station module inadvertently glorified the country's biggest rival. A video animation put together by state television to mark the highly publicised launch of Tiangong-1 - or Heavenly Palace - is set to the music of America the Beautiful, a patriotic song about the United States. It was unclear whether the choice of song - which includes the line: America! America! God shed His grace on thee - was a mistake. China launched its first space laboratory module yesterday in a step toward a manned station orbiting Earth, two months after the final shuttle mission halted the U.S.’s ability to put people into orbit . The Tiangong-1 blasted off 9:16 p.m. local time, according the official Xinhua News Agency. President Hu Jintao watched from the control center in Beijing and Premier Wen Jiabao was at the launch site in
